Unit Selection Guide

This guide will help you choose your first-year units for most of our undergraduate degrees. It’s best used alongside the Course and Unit Handbook  , which outlines the structure of your course, including details of core units, available majors and electives. The Course and Unit Handbook also has information about how to best sequence your units based on your starting study period.

Within this guide, you’ll find details of the units you can enrol in, based on the structure of your course and what’s available in your location. Remember, a standard full-time enrolment is 100 credit points a year, with 50 credit points in each half of the year. To help you with this, our guide will display the credit points for each unit.
